Reviews and Ratings
This hotel is a gem right in the heart of San Francisco. The location is unbeatable, surrounded by high-end stores and fantastic eateries. The rooms, although on the smaller side, are classy and impeccable. The service was top-notch with attentive staff, but the noise from the bustling Union Square can be a drawback.
I had a pleasant stay at the hotel. The beds were nice and comfortable, and the location was fantastic for exploring shops and restaurants. However, the rooms felt a bit dated for a prime location hotel with premium rates. The staff were friendly and accommodating, even though they seemed overwhelmed due to the Marriott/Starwood integration.
The hotel is perfectly located in front of Union Square, ideal for exploring and enjoying the city. The rooms offer a fantastic experience with a great bath, beautiful bed, and spacious sitting room, though the corridor is a little bit small. The service was attentive and accommodating, offering various amenities. The dining options, although a bit expensive, provided excellent value for money with a variety of breakfast choices. Overall, a great place to stay with a few minor drawbacks.
My stay at the hotel was a mixed bag. On one hand, the rooms were small but clean and cozy, with comfortable beds; however, being next to the elevator made them unbelievably ugly. The service had moments of being amazing but also had some pitfalls, like not having answers to basic questions at times. The location was a great experience, especially being in front of Union Square and close to Chinatown, with many restaurant and shopping options nearby. The dining experience was a bit pricey for what was offered, but our server, Oyen, made it terrific with her friendly service. Facilities were good overall.
The hotel offers great-sized, well-equipped, and beautifully decorated rooms. Facing the square, you can enjoy the city's hustle and bustle. However, some rooms are small and dark, making it uncomfortable, especially with closet doors that obstruct usability. On the bright side, the fantastic rooms have great baths, beautiful beds, and spacious sitting areas and corridors.
The hotel has a great view and is conveniently located, but our room felt like a downgrade from what we expected. It was spacious but lacked that cozy feel. The service was exceptionally friendly and helpful, especially with internet service arrangements. The dining was overpriced and not up to par. The location is unbeatable for exploring the city, although safety could be a concern.
My week-long stay at the hotel was a mix of positives and negatives. The room, although spacious and well-equipped, had some cleanliness issues at the entrance and in the hallway. The rate we got through Hotwire was decent. The service was hit or miss, with some staff being attentive while others left without a word. The location was excellent for sightseeing, but our particular room placement was disappointing. The dining experience was a bit expensive and not impressive. Overall, a decent stay with some drawbacks.
The hotel had huge and very comfortable beds in its large rooms, though the noise levels were a bit of a downside. The service was competent and efficient in handling issues but lacked in housekeeping staff at times. The location was conveniently situated in downtown but was prone to noise from Union Square. The dining was a bit on the pricier side for what was offered. Overall, a mixed experience with comfortable rooms and some service issues.
The hotel offers spacious rooms with privacy in the layout, but some rooms have a slight cigarette odor which can be off-putting. The location is excellent for exploring downtown, though the busy surroundings can lead to noise disturbances. The service is a mix of basic customer care with some personalized touches. The dining options are limited, with only a couple of dining establishments available. Overall, a decent option with some room for improvement.
I had a wonderful experience at the Westin St Francis Union Square. The room on the 28th floor offered great views, though I wish I could have stayed longer. The night noise was a bit bothersome, but overall, it was a pleasant stay.
